The Epiphone Triumph was one of Epiphone's most popular and best selling guitars. Starting off in the early 1930's with a 16-inch body, by 1937 it grew to a full 17 inches, with a carved spruce top, maple sides and carved maple back. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. The pickguard is a long, bound mottled celluloid.
This 1941 Epiphone Triumph archtop is in good playing condition. The classic Epiphone Frequensator tailpiece is not original, and there have been some binding touchups and associated finish overspray. A late 1950's or early 1960's Hofner case is included.
