Here's a 1951 Gibson ES-125 in largely original condition, with a single P-90 pickup. The ES-125 at this time was built with arched maple laminate for the top and back, and mahogany for the sides and neck. The fingerboard and bridge are Brazilian Rosewood. The fingerboard and bridge are Brazilian Rosewood. The sunburst lacquer finish is original with lots of wear on the neck, and some wear on the back, sides and top. This guitar plays quite well - it has been refretted, there is some fretwear; it appears to have had a neck reset quite some time ago and the neck angle is very good, with lots of space to move the action up or down. The volume and tone knobs are not original and the pickguard is missing. The wiring appears to be otherwise original, as does the finish. A non-original, larger hardshell case is included.
