This remarkable example was built during 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is in exceptionally good condition. Aside from natural lacquer sinking, it looks almost new. There is virtually no lacquer checking, a natural reaction of lacquer finishes to temperature changes, and wear is very minor. The only apparent non-original feature is the tailpiece, which was replaced some time ago.
This is a great guitar to play. It sounds extremely good acoustically and electrically; the ES-125T models from this period are very loud acoustically and the P-90 has a wonderfully warm output, outstanding for blues and jazz styles. The neck profile is a bit full but not chubby or fat.
The original faux-gator fibre (cardboard) case is included.
