S/N: N/A, ink stamps of S-63-JW Made In USA 1311H70, built during 1963 in Chicago, Illinois,
At their peak, Harmony was the largest instrument company in the USA, and had to expand their premises several times. Harmony built hundreds of thousands of instruments and guitars like the Harmony Meteor H70 were seen everywere. However, competition from Asian builders in the lower price range folded the company in the 1970s.

This is a 1963 Harmony Meteor H70, very similar to the 1960/1961 model used by Keith Richards in the early days of The Rolling Stones' journey to stardom. The top is Spruce laminate, the back and sides Maple laminate, and the neck is either maple or poplar with a rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is in good playing condition, and overall good physical condition. A case is included.
