The Fender Twin amplifier has been a workhorse since it was introduced in 1952 as a 25 watt combo. It's undergone many changes over the years to meet the rising demands of performing musicians, and by 1965, in the 'Blackface' era, put out around 85 watts into two 12 inch speakers.

For many years, the Fender Twin Reverb was nearly ubiquitous on larger stages. Loud and clear, reliable and easy to repair, musicians of all genres used the twin - sometimes several at once. I seem to recall a Johnny Winter And show at Maple Leaf Gardens where there were several pyramids made from Fender Twin amps. Being very clean, they are also popular with country players.

This 1965 Fender Twin Reverb is in good condition, with all 1965 components, and footswitch. The black tolex covering is in good condition with no major scuffing or tearing.
