The Fender Telecaster has proven one of history's most versatile musical instrument designs. Modifying and refinishing telecasters has been very popular. As seen here, one of the common approaches was to strip off the finish exposing the natural wood.

This rosewood-fingerboard Fender Telecaster dates to 1966, with a neck date of 3 MAR66B. The nut width is 1 9/16 inches. The parts are all original, with the exception of the brass saddles - the oriuginals are in the case. It was refretted some time ago and there is moderate to heavy fretwear. Traces of the original blonde finish can be seen under the pickguard and near the output jack. The guitar plays fairly well as is but could use a setup.

A gig bag is included.
