S/N: 521242, built during 1974 at the Fender plant in Fullerton, California.
The Fender Stratocaster was a hit from its introduction in 1954, and its first variant was the Hardtail or non-tremolo version, originally a special order. Hardtail models were not built in nearly the quantity of the tremolo-equipped guitar, and in 2006 the hard tail model was discontinued.

Here we have a 1974 Fender Stratocaster with the hardtail bridge, and in black finish with maple neck. It's in overall good condition with some play wear - a few small dents and dings, and just two or three of the usual finish chips along the edge of the fingerboard. Fret wear is moderate, and mostly in the lower positions. The original 3-way switch is still installed.

The original hardshell case is included.
