One of the classics, the Fender Stratocaster took off and kept going at its introduction in 1954. This 1977 Maple Neck Sunburst is largely original, with the addition of a boost circuit.
This guitar has been very recently set up in The Twelfth Fret Repair Shop and plays well. Being mostly original, it hasn't been refretted, and it has been used as intended so the frets are fairly low. The finish is worn in the usual areas, but while it is worn, it hasn't been abused.
The boost circuit is housed in the output jack cavity and has a switch, a boost control and the output jack mounted on the plate. It uses a standard 9v battery, housed under the pickguard.
A newer Fender gig bag is included.
