S/N: 01274709, dates to May 7 2004 at the Gibson Nashville plant.
Introduced in 2002, the Gibson ES-137c Classic is intended to combine two of Gibson's most successful designs - the resonance of the thinline archtop ES models, and the solidity of the Les Paul classic.
Bringing together the florentine cutaway thinline, arch top body with the solid center block, and using most of the hardware from a Les Paul including the pickups, tune-a-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, the ES-137c Classic is a very versatile guitar.
This example of the 2002 Gibson ES-137c production is in good condition and is all original. The maple laminates used for the top, back and sides are very nicely flamed and are well set off by the sunburst finish. The gold hardware is in good shape with little tarnish.
The original hardshell case is included.
