S/N: MSN607318, built at the Fender Ensenada plant in Mexico around 2006.
The Fender Robert Cray Stratocaster appeared in 1996 and is based on the otherwise discontinued 'hard tail' Stratocaster, which does not have the famous Fender trem bridge.

This example, built around 2006 in Fender's Ensenada plant in Mexico, carries the Violet finish. Robert Cray Stratocasters are also available in 3-tone sunburst and Inca Silver, all with rosewood fingerboards and Hardtail bridge.

The Robert Cray Stratocaster is based on a 1961 model, with an alder body and a 1961 style 'C' shape neck profile and 9.5 inch fingerboard radius. Vintage stle pickups and white pickguards are stock. Being a signature model, it sports Robert Cray's signature on the headstock.

This guitar is from around 2006 though the serial numbers are not definitive for dating. It is in very good dcondition and is all orginal. The violet finish is very clean, with just a few small marks on the back, and there is light fretwear. The original Fender gig bag is included.
