This example of the Kenny Hill Torres 1856 guitar was built during 2006 in Felton, California. It features an Englemann Spruce top and Indian Rosewood for the back, sides headplate and bridge, mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. Rubner tuners are installed, and the finish is French Polish.
The scale length on this guitar is 630mm, and the nut width 51mm.
Overall this guitar is in very good condition. Because French Polish offers relatively little physical protection (particularly compared to modern poly finishes, which offer considerably degraded acoustic performance) there is some light marking on the top as normal play and use wear. The guitar comes with an arched-top, hard shell TKL case.
