Victor Baker has become very well known for high quality guitars; so much so that he was offered, and has taken the opportunity to recreate several classic D'Angelico archtop guitars, at the request of the D'Angelico company. During this exciting time, production of his other guitars has been suspended.

This Victor Baker VBT in White lacquer finish was built in 2008 at the Victor Baker Guitars shop in New York City. The VBT is a take on the classic Tele design, with features like extra contours around the neck joint to enhance upper register access and on the body to improve comfort. This is a set neck design, not a bolt-on.

Built with light swamp ash for the body and a maple neck, this VBT uses a Budz Purebred pickup set. The pickguard has a traditional 'mint green' tint, the bridge is the traditional three-saddle model and the tuners are Gotoh HAP models.

The scale length is 25 1/2 inches, and the fingerboard has a compound radius of 10 to 14 inches. The nut width is 1 5/8 inches.

This guitar is in pristine condition with original case.
