The C. F. Martin HD-16R Adirondack was designed to provide a Martin with higher-end features but at a more affordable price. The design appears to have been successful. The Martin HD-16R Adirondack is every bit a Martin with a full, rich sound with crisp highs and mids.
It sounds great and has a good action. This is a lot of fun to play!
Built in 2010, this Martin HD-16R Adirondack is built with a solid Adirondack spruce top, solid Rosewood back and sides, herringbone binding, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, and a vintage tinted top.
This example is in very good condition with a black hardshell case.
