Based on the early Gibson L-00 body steel string guitars, the Gibson Blues King is very well suited to playing acoustic blues and roots music. The smaller body size makes it very comfortable to play and the proven shape provides a warm, familiar and full tone.

The Gibson Blues King is built with a Sitka spruce top, Bubinga back and sides, mahogany neck and Indian rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge. The scale length is 24.75 inches and the nut width 1.725 inches.

An L.R. Baggs M1 pickup has been added, as have a new bone nut and saddle, and vintage style Stewart-McDonald tuners. The guitar is in good condition, plays well, sounds quite nice, and has minimal fretwear. The original hardshell case is included.
