The Fender Nate Mendel P-bass is based on the 1971 Candy Apple Red Precision bass used on recordings and tours by Nate Mendel of Foo Fighters.

Built during 2013, this excellent bass features an ash body with a lightly distressed nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a narrower 1971 style neck, Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickup, and a Badass II Bass bridge. The original Foo Fighters neck plate is also included, but a case is not.

These are great basses. They have all the tone and reliability that's made the Fender Precision bass the most recorded bass in history, with a great feel from the narrower neck. And the candy red finish is very cool!
