1972 Left-Handed Gibson Les Paul Deluxe SOLD

Comments Here’s a very cool 1972 Left-Handed Gibson Les Paul Deluxe.

This one’s well used, and the finish has reacted over the years and shifted to a green tint.

The 1968-introduced Deluxe design again allowed Gibson to re-use parts – the routing is the same as for P-90 models, and the mini-humbuckers came from Epiphone models. The trim ring is a modified P-90 cover! Production ended in 1985.

Serial Number 751840, built during 1972 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Pricing $2,400 CAD with original case. SOLD
Neck Three piece mahogany neck with volute, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoidal markings. Gibson logo has the dotted ‘i’ indicating 1972.
Body Les Paul body, left-hand, 4-layer pancake body with maple cap.
Finish Gibson Gold-Top Les Paul finish in nitrocellulose lacquer – gold top, natural back and sides. The top has oxidized heavily in some areas, turing green and wearing away from the edge.
