1994 Heritage H150 Sunburst (consignment) SOLD

Comments Heritage guitars are made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and like Guild and Epiphone, the company was formed by former Gibson staffers who did not want to move with the company. Instead, they purchased facilities, fixtures and materials from Gibson and started Heritage.

This 1994 Heritage H150 Sunburst is based on the classic Les Paul design, but with a number of subtle changes. The body shape is slightly different and the headstock is narrower and tapered – this is a good thing as it decreases the angle the strings take out of the nut.

Serial Number K06804, built during 1994 at the Heritage plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This plant was formerly a Gibson facility, and many of the fixtures were Gibson property purchased by the Heritage founders – themselves former Gibson staffers – when Gibson moved south.
