Gibson Brad Paisley Model J-45 (SOLD)

Comments The J-45 model was introduced in 1942, and was an immediate hit. The Gibson Brad Paisley Model J-45 is based on the original run of J-45s, and includes styling cues for its namesake Brad Paisley. It features the same construction and materials, with Adirondack Red Spruce top and scalloped bracing, mahogany back, sides and neck, and hide glue on the joints.

The Gibson Brad Paisley Model J-45 was built in a run of 300, with the label carrying Brad Paisley’s name and signature and identifying it as the Brad Paisley Model.

This particular guitar has another interesting aspect – for the last few weeks, it’s had a ToneRite Play In Simulator running on it. The guitar is opening up nicely, and without adding any fretwear or marring the finish.
