❌SOLD❌ Gibson Super 400 1939 Reissue, 1999

Comments Gibson introduced the Super 400 as the top of the line archtop in 1934. In 1939, several significant changes appeared and a cutaway model designated the Super 400 Premiere was introduced; this quickly became the Super 400c.

This 1999 Gibson Super 400 1939 Reissue is in near immaculate condition, with a carved spruce top, carved and very highly flamed maple back, flame maple sides and neck. There is no significant wear.

The Super 400 seems no longer to be a regular production model, but they are seen from time to time as custom orders.
