Neck	Mahogany neck with unbound rosewood fingerboard. Hagstrom H-channel truss rod.
Frets	20 low, narrow frets with little wear.
Body	Slim mahogany body.
Finish	Nitrocellulose lacquer finish in decent shape, dark tobacco sunburst.
Hardware/electronics	Two Hagstrom single-coil pickups. Slider volume control switch and pushbutton pickup and tone selector! Strat-style output jack plate, chrome bridge plate. The tuners are very good and accurate.
Playability/Action	Curently strung with black tape-wound strings. Plays well at a standard action height. Hagstrom instruments are known for slim necks.
Case	Newer rectacngular hardshell case included.
Comments	This Hagstrom Coronado IV Bass from 1967 is interesting bass and sounds really good – a warm, woody tone, and it’s light! The slim neck makes it very easy to play, too.
