Comments Here’s a Martin Style 0 Soprano Ukulele from the late 1940’s – just post WW2. It’s had some repairs to its back and is now ready for many more years of tonal adventures. Clear and crisp, Martin Ukuleles were among the best available.

Neck Mahogany neck with mahogany fingerboard. Martin & Co decal on headstock, dating the guitar to post-WW2.
Frets Original frets with some play wear.
Body All Mahogany construction, soprano Style 0 body. There are a few repaired cracks on the back and the instrument is now structurally sound.
Finish Original nitrocellulose lacquer finish with some dings and scratches.
Hardware/electronics Metal patent tuning pegs with ivoroid buttons, ebony nut and saddle.
Playability/Action Plays well with an easy action.
