Paramount Style A Tenor Banjo, 1935 (consignment) No Longer Available

Comments Here’s a lovely Paramount Style A tenor banjo from around 1935.

These were a standard professional instrument at the time; the Style A was the least decorated but was otherwise very similar to the more elaborate – and expensive – models.

This example is in great playing, and mostly original, condition.

Serial Number N/A, built around 1935.
Pricing $950.00 CAD with original case.
Neck Maple neck with unbound ebony fingerboard, mother of pearl position markers and ornate peghead inlay.
Frets Minor wear.
Body Maple tone ring.
Finish Original nitrocellulose lacquer finish on neck, resonator has been refinished.
Hardware/electronics Original tuners, updated bridge and tailpiece.
Playability/Action Plays very well and we will of course set it up to the players’ requirements.
Case Original case included.
