This Mesa-Boogie amp is in excellent condition and is quite eye-catching with custom green tolex and leather handle. The Stiletto delivers the chimey clean sound characteristic of Mesa-Boogie amps, but if you don’t need that, it’s easy to go from wooly to snarl, and from there to high gain territory.
MORE →This wonderful instrument uses Madagascar rosewood, which has many of the visual and tonal qualities of Brazilian, but isn’t endangered. It has the typical, lush and full Martin sound and the slightly slimmer ‘performance’ neck profile is very easy to get around on. The herringbone purfling and grained ivoroid binding are a very nice touch.
