❌SOLD❌ BC Rich Bich Supreme Maple Natural, 1995

Designed by Neal Moser while Bernardo Rico was out of the country, the BC Rich Bich first appeared in the 1976 catalog as a 10-string model. Like most other BC Rich models of the time, the Bich used a neck-through design with ‘wings’ added to provide the body shape for the center neck-body section. The BC Rich Bich Supreme seen here is in great condition with very little wear.

Gibson ‘The Firebird’ Dreadnought Dark Sunburst, 2012

Produced as one of 40 by the Bozeman, Montana Custom Shop, this Gibson ‘The Firebird’ is a spectacular square-shoulder dreadnought steel string with quilted Maple back and sides. Introduced in 2004 and recently discontinued, the Gibson ‘The Firebird’ model is based on a full size, square shoulder, Maple body dreadnought. Maple tends to be fairly bright, but the tonal characteristics of the Dreadnought body add quite a bit of bottom end and fullness.

Sometimes a guitar can surprise you. I picked up this Martin J-40 having handled a number of 000 guitars recently, and was taken aback by its depth and power. It sounds fantastic! The Martin J-40 appeared in 1990 as a reworking of the J-40 M introduced in 1985.

The Gibson Kalamazoo Award was originally designed and built by Gibson craftsman Wilbur Fuller as a completely hand-tuned archtop using the finest materials available. It is a spectacular demonstration of the skills involved in building a top-rank archtop guitar. This example dates to October 3rd, 1980 and was built in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It is in exceptional condition with wear limited to light fret wear in the lower positions.

Here we’re looking at a Furch G23-CB steel string acoustic guitar built in the early part of 2017. The model number identifies this instrument as having a Grand Auditorium body, part of the now-discontinued ’23’ series, with Cedar top and African Blackwood sides and back.

Henderson OM Steel String Natural, 2019

Here’s a rarity! Seen here is a Henderson OM style guitar, built during 2019 in Rugby Virgina by W C Henderson and in very good clean condition. Wayne C Henderson has been a prominent fingerstyle guitarist and luthier for many years, and puts a lot of time and effort into promoting Appalachian arts and culture via the “Wayne C. Henderson School of Appalachian Arts”.
