Here’s a very clean, all original 2016 Gretsch G6128 Duo Jet in Black, with vintage-style Bigsby B3 V-cut tailpiece and Space Control bridge. This model uses the 1959 style electronics layout with two Filter ‘Trons – apparently not by TV Jones as there is no T designation – pickup selector, tone selector, plus individual and master Volume controls.

The Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA is the direct descendant of a Chet Atkins idea – a nylon-string guitar built to be amplified. The initial models were built by Gibson as the Chet Atkins CEC (Cutaway Electric Classic). Eventually, Gibson discontinued the model but Godin took the concept and improved it dramatically, even including synthesizer interface electronics.
Here we have a Russell Lackey LT1 T-Style guitar, built near Toronto by a former craftsperson at The Twelfth Fret Repair shop. The Russell Lackey LT1 shown here is Russ’s interpretation of a great classic. The LT1 strongly resembles the guitar that inspired it, but with a few changes, feeling that the market didn’t need another vintage reissue.
The Godin Summit Classic HB is derived from a classic design, and offers a chambered Spanish Cedar body with a carved Maple cap. This example was built during 2016 at the Godin plants in La Patrie and Richmond, Quebec. It’s in great condition with very little wear.
This Gretsch G6128T-59 Vintage Select ’59 Duo Jet is about as near-mint as it gets, while still technically being a used example. ’59 Duo Jet is about as near-mint as it gets, while still technically being a used example. With its construction dating to March of 2021 and built by Terada at Nagoya, Japan, this has had so little use that the protective paper liner is still underneath the Ebony base for the Space Control bridge.

MORE →The Gibson SG Supreme was built from 1999 to 2009 and features a figured Maple cap on a Mahogany slab body, paired with a Mahogany neck and bound Richlite fingerboard. At first, the SG Supreme was equipped with a pair of P-90 pickups, but these were phased out in favour of Humbuckers over the year 2000 and into 2001. In 2002, the ‘Fireburst’ finish seen here started rising from the tail of the guitar, rather than the traditional burst with dark edges and lighter center.
