This Roscoe Century Standard 5 String Fretless Bass is in natural finish, and built during 2014 in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a somewhat long scale bass at 35 inches, with the longer scale used to improve definition on the lower notes of the 5th string. In terms of construction, the Roscoe Century Standard 5 is a bolt-on design with a Swamp Ash body and a 3-piece quartersawn Maple neck with Graphite inserts and an Ebony fingerboard, with metal-filled fret slots for accuracy.

Generally positioned as a lower cost model, the Eastman AR-503ce uses a traditional full-depth single-cutaway design with arched solid, carved Spruce top, but with laminated Maple for the sides and arched back.

With a neck date of April 1982, this Fender 62 Reissue Jazz Bass is an early effort to capture the original style of the Jazz Bass. The original models were introduced in 1960 as an attempt to capture the rest of the professional bass player market that hadn’t migrated to the Precision Bass.

Here we have a fairly rare bird – the Guild X79 Skyhawk in white, produced in Westerly Rhode Island from 1981 to 1986, this one dating to 1984. The construction of this model is simple – the body and set neck are Mahogany, with an un-bound, 24-fret Ebony fingerboard. Those last few frets were very rare at the time!
