This Gibson Honeyburst Les Paul Standard was built during 2005 and is in very good, clean original condition with only light wear. At the time that this example was built, pickguards were not installed on models with figured tops, and the two mounting holes were not drilled. The original pickguard is not included and seems to be long gone.

Introduced in 1987, the Stingray 5 bass was the first new bass offered following Ernie Ball’s purchase of Music Man, and has consistently had a solid following. This model is based on the Music Man Stingray bass introduced in 1976 and partly designed by Leo Fender, with input from Sterling Ball. When first introduced, it was quickly adopted by players like Tony Levin and others who frequently needed lower C or B notes, but without sacrificing the tone of higher pitches.

MORE →The PRS DGT David Grissom Trem model starts with the basic McCarty design, but alters the neck shape, pickups, and control layout, adds higher frets, and carries a vintage style trem bridge. It uses the proven formula of a carved Maple cap on a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. This model was introduced in 2007. Here we’re looking at a PRS DGT model built during 2013 at the PRS shop in Stevensville, Maryland, with a lovely honey burst finish. This guitar is in overall good condition with a few small dings, minor fretwear and minor play wear.

MORE →First appearing in 1983, the Gibson Les Paul Studio has been built in a range of variations though all aim to deliver a real Les Paul experience but at a lower price point. The price savings mostly come from two labour intensive areas. First, most Studios have thinner finishes and not all are gloss. This reduces the time spent in the finish room which can take weeks for a full gloss.
