Eastman E10 OOSS Steel String Guitar Sunburst

Eastman E10 OOSS Steel String Guitar Sunburst

The Eastman E10 OOSS is a modern version of a classic – the OO body shape with an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany back, sides and neck with Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This design comes from the 1898 Martin OO18, which was built until 1995, and again since 2006 with a few variations. The OO body is a bit larger and louder than the ‘Parlor Guitar’ size, and closer to the volume of a classical guitar body. These are known as being tonally very well balanced, with good clarity and separation between notes. They make excellent fingerstyle guitars.

Eastman El Rey Mandolin ER-M Classic Finish

Eastman El Rey Mandolin ER-M Classic Finish

Eastman El Rey ER-M  Mandolin is very cool instrument that shares DNA with the Eastman archtop El Rey models, creating a contemporary looking electric mandolin. The Eastman El Rey ER-M features a solid one piece mahogany sides and back with a solid maple top. The mahogany provides enhanced mid range warmth and the maple top has a focused note fundamental with clear top end snap. The two f holes provide a bit of traditional mandolin looks but the single cutaway and lower bout design really give it that jazz box feel.

❌SOLD❌ Fender American Vintage ’72 Telecaster Custom Reissue Sunburst, 2012

❌SOLD❌ Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster Custom Reissue Sunburst, 2012

The Fender American Vintage 72 Telecaster recreates a version of the Telecaster built from 1972 to 1981, a major change from the Tele Custom introduced in 1959. For 1959 with the introduction of Rosewood fingerboards, Fender introduced an ‘upmarket’ Telecaster Custom, with the new Rosewood board and a body with binding around the top and back. The rest of the guitar was standard Telecaster. However, by 1972, Fender Marketing was feeling pressured because of its close association with thin and bright single coil pickups, while Gibson was almost synonymous with fat sounding humbuckers.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson J-35 Round Shoulder Flat Top Natural, 2013

❌SOLD❌ Gibson J-35 Round Shoulder Flat Top Natural, 2013

Built from 1936 to 1942, the Gibson J-35 round shoulder model, formally known as the Jumbo 35, replaced the more expensive Jumbo, whose sales were poor due to the ongoing Great Depression.  The very first models were named the Gibson Trojan. In 1942, the Jumbo 35 was itself replaced by the very successful J-45 model. The Gibson J-35 round shoulder jumbo and the J-45 have many visible and structural similarities. Both feature a Jumbo body with Spruce top paired with Mahogany for the back, sides, body blocks and neck, with Rosewood for the bridge and fingerboard.

❌SOLD❌ Eastman ER2 El Rey Thinline Archtop Red, 2006

The Eastman ER2 El Rey is designed to produce a full archtop sound from a smaller, much lighter body – it is only 14 inches across, a bit bigger than a Gibson Les Paul. Otherwise it has a relatively typical archtop construction – solid, hand carved spruce top, solid and hand carved flame maple back, solid flame maple sides and neck, and ebony for the fingerboard, bridge base, and tailpiece cover.
