Here, we’re looking at a Fano PX6 Alt de Facto model with three key options – Lollar Firebird pickups instead of P90s and a set, Mahogany neck rather than a bolt-on Maple neck. This model hews close to the ‘Non Reverse’ aesthetic, with a bound Rosewood fingerboard and six-on-one-side tuning machines. The body is a slab of Mahogany with lightly rounded edges.

❌SOLD❌ Heritage H575 Cutaway Archtop Electric Blonde, 1990

The Heritage H575 is a take on the classic single-cutaway Maple laminate archtop electric, and clearly draws from the Gibson ES-175 that originated in the building Heritage now occupies. Heritage was formed by former Gibson employees who did not want to leave Kalamazoo when Gibson completed its move to Nashville. This Heritage H575 dates to 1990 and was built at the Parsons Street plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Like every other Heritage we’ve seen, it is very well built and finished.

❌SOLD❌ Beard Resoluxe Solidbody Resophonic Electric Guitar Sunburst, 2018

Here’s a very cool instrument – a Paul Beard Resoluxe solidbody resophonic guitar from 2018, with both Fishman Nashville and a Lollar P-90 pickups! A fairly new model for Paul Beard, the Beard Resoluxe pairs a solid Mahogany body with a Mahogany neck, with Ebony for the fingerboard and head plate. A 9.5 inch hand spun biscuit cone occupies the top, and has the Fishman Nashville element on the biscuit.

❌SOLD❌ Collings 290 DC Custom Sunburst, 2016

The Collings 290 DC Custom is, as the name suggests, a custom version of the Collings DC – conceptually similar to the late 1950s Les Paul Special but with humbucking pickups and comfort contours. We can’t recall seeing a Collings guitar that didn’t impress us. This example is no exception. Collings finishes are among the best nitrocellulose lacquer finishes we see – they have definitely mastered this art.

This Heritage H 525 is a PTD VSB model, built during 2007 at the Heritage plant, 525 Parsons Street Kalamazoo Michigan – the old Gibson facility. The H 525 does not presently appear in Heritage listings on on its website. P T D stands for P90s, Thinline, Dual Pickup, while VSB means ‘Vintage Sun Burst’ (thanks to a customer for clarifying ‘PTD’).

The Collings I-35LC uses a custom Maple laminate for the body with a solid Maple center block mated to a Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard. Current versions of this model have bound fingerboards, but on this 2005 model the fingerboard is unbound.
