Many folks associate the name with high quality steel string guitars, but the Larrivee RS-04 was for a time the top end of Larrivee’s electric line. During the 1980’s, the company focused heavily on electrics, and still offer a few models. This Larrivee RS-04 Mahogany sports a GoldTop finish and dates to October 29, 2009 and is in overall very good condition with only very light wear.
Oxnard
This Larrivee L-10 Rosewood was built during 2002 in Oxnard California, within a year of the opening of that shop. The L series has been built since the 1980’s and shows Larrivee’s classical guitar influence, producing a full and well balanced tone.
This a Larrivee LV-05E Lefty in very good, clean condition. Part of the Select Series, this model pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the sides, back and neck, with Ebony for the bridge and fingerboard. This model includes a factory stock L R Baggs pickup and pre-amp set; power is provided by a standard 9v battery placed on the neck block.
Here we have a lovely Larrivee L-09-12, 12 string model built during 2004 in Oxnard, California. Based on the long-proven L-body, which itself is influenced by classical guitar principles that produce a rich, full, well balanced tone, this guitar is in very good, clean condition with only light wear. This model is still in production. Larrivee began production in Oxnard, California during 2001 after a total of ten locations in Canada since 1968, though Canadian production did not end till 2013.

The Larrivee OM-09 draws from the classic Orchestra Model design developed in the late 1920’s as banjo players migrated to guitar. This model features a Sitka Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood for the sides and back. The body blocks and neck are Mahogany, with Ebony for the bridge, head plate and bound fingerboard.
