Based on the classic 1930’s ‘Duolian’ style design, this National Raw Series is a single-cone, 12-fret Resophonic guitar with the ‘Raw ‘ wax finish. The first instruments built by the National String Instrument Corporation were the famous Tri-Cone models and were invented to address the need for more volume in a time before electric amplification.

Here we have a very good condition Huber VRB4 TrueTone Walnut 5-string banjo, with a highly figured Burl Walnut resonator and Rosewood fingerboard. Based on classic 1930s, pre-WW2 banjo designs, the Huber VRB4 delivers great tone and looks with modern reliability. It features walnut construction, a HR-30 tone ring and Huber Engineered rim.

This National M2 Mahogany single cone resophonic guitar was built during 2019 in San Luis Obispo, California. It is equipped with an aftermarket Krivo humbucking pickup. The M1 and M2 models are currently out of production, and were built from 1990 to 1994 and again from 2003 to at least 2019. The National M2 Mahogany was National ResoPhonic’s earliest single-cone model.
