Here from 2016 is a Waterloo WL-14 LTR, a ladder braced small body guitar, built by Collings as part of the ‘Retro’ Waterloo line, honoring the influential guitars of the 1930s and 1940s. The construction and finishes tend to be very light and thin. The Waterloo WL-14 is available with either Ladder or X braced tops.

MORE →The Collings OM1-ESS is based on the traditional OM – Orchestra Model body design, but with an Engelmann Spruce top and a 24.9 inch (632mm) scale length. The OM body has been favored by performing fingerstylists since its introduction by Martin in 1930 as a 14-fret adaptation of the 12-fret OOO models. Collings builds some of the finest instruments available, and this Collings OM1-ESS, built during 2015 in Austin Texas is an excellent example of their work.

MORE →The Collings CJ GSB is a fantastic instrument, taking cues from classic slope-shouldered dreadnought models and far surpassing them in build and materials quality. The CJ stands for “Collings Jumbo” while the “GSB” means that this guitar has both a German Spruce top and a Sunburst finish, two of the basic options for this model.

MORE →Here is a wonderful Collings 0001 with a 12-fret full 25.5 inch scale neck, built with Sitka Spruce top and Honduran Mahogany. Built during 2012 in Austin and signed by Bill Collings, this guitar is in very good clean condition. While this guitar is now almost a decade old, it has been very well cared for. It’s also been owned and played by someone with highly developed skills, and so the guitar has had a chance to develop its frankly impressive voice.

MORE →Here is a very nice Collings OM1 Orchestra Model, pairing Sitka Spruce and Honduran Mahogany, with Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. This example is in very good clean condition with only light wear. The Collings OM1 Orchestra Model draws heavily from the original OM models built in the very early 1930’s by Martin for bandleader Perry Bechtel, but its scale length is slightly longer at 25.5 inches instead of 25.4 inches.
