The Duesenberg Fullerton TV is a very well built compact body, double cutaway thinline archtop with custom pickups and a great vibrato tailpiece. Here we’re looking at a Duesenberg Fullerton TV dated on its label to 25 Mai 2011, and coming from Germany. This example is in good clean condition, with some light tarnish to the nickel plating but very little wear otherwise. Fret and finish wear are very light.

Here is a limited edition rarity from 1987 – a Rickenbacker 4003 Tuxedo White Star bass, one of approximately 120 built during that year; some reports say 100 were built. The model 4003 bass was introduced in 1979 to improve the model 4001 and in particular to strengthen the dual truss rods for use with round wound strings. The Rickenbacker 4003 Tuxedo or White Star bass is based closely on the 4003 and was built only during 1987.

MORE →From the early 1930s until the rise of Rock ‘n Roll, steel guitars like this National Model 1008 Console 8 were very popular, and for novice players, often their first instrument. In fact, the very first production electric guitars were Electric Hawaiian steel models, and the first of those was almost certainly the 1932 Ro-Pat-In Steel. Ro-Pat-In quickly improved their name to ‘Rickenbacher’ and soon also introduced the very rare 1935 ‘Ken Roberts’ guitar, arguably the first production Electric Spanish style guitar. Rickenbacker at this time was also building metal parts for both National and DoBro.

By 1963, the model was renamed at Les Paul’s request, and Gibson called it the ‘SG’. Like the original, the Les Paul Custom 62 Reissue uses a contoured Mahogany slab body with a Mahogany neck. Like previous Les Paul Custom models, the fingerboard is Ebony instead of Rosewood, and the position markers are Mother of Pearl blocks.

Somewhat similar to the Axis line, the Ernie Ball Music Man Reflex HH uses three woods for the body – a Basswood shell, Mahogany tone block, and a Maple cap. The neck is a traditional Maple, with either an integrated Maple fingerboard or a Rosewood slab board.

Very similar to the American Standard series, the American Special most visibly features the Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off highs while maintaining low-end definition.Fender introduced the Jazz Bass during 1960, and offered a much narrower neck than the wildly successful Precision Bass, and a pair of single coil pickups, with two pole pieces per string.
