The Republic Tricone Style 200 is a reproduction of the original 1920s National tricone, built as the guitarist’s entry into the volume wars. At the time, acoustic guitars couldn’t be heard over the banjos and woodwinds common in musical groups.

This Republic Tricone Style 200 Resophonic Guitar plays well and has that early resophonic growl, and it can definitely be heard – it’s not subtle. The Style 200 features a steel body with three six inch resonator cones, and a 12-fret mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. The scale length is 25.5 inches and the nut width 1 7/8 inches. As a round-neck model, it’s an excellent entry point into the vintage style resophonic world.
A hardshell case is included.
