❌SOLD❌ Beard Legacy R Roundneck Resonator Guitar Sunburst, 2008

The Beard Legacy R RoundNeck features a small Mahogany body and neck with Ebony fingerboard, with a single-cone spider-type resonator set.

This example dates to 2008 at Hagerstown, Maryland and includes a factory-installed pickup, custom built by Beard with Jerry Douglas and Larry Fishman. It is in overall good condition with minor wear. However, when last shipped there was some damage to the neck at the headstock and heel. This has been professionally repaired, and equally professionally touched up. There is also a small crack in the top finish by the bass side of the tailpiece.

The Beard Legacy R Roundneck is a wonderful guitar. It’s very comfortable, and really delivers the sonic goods.

The original hard shell case is included.

“The Legacy R RoundNeck offers a modern design and sound on a traditional resonator guitar. The combination of a spider cone and solid wood generates a powerful, smooth sound that is perfect for a slide, fingerstyle blues, or driving rhythm. The Legacy R offers a different full-bodied sound than the traditional Tri-cone or Biscuit guitar.

The Legacy R-Model RoundNeck is a small body mahogany guitar with curly maple binding and is available with a traditional soundwell or open body construction. It comes standard in a tobacco sunburst.

Made of solid mahogany, it has an ebony fretboard, slotted diamond inlays, and an ebony peghead veneer. All Beard roundnecks are built with a double action truss rod and an ebony truss rod cover.

In addition to an Original #14 spider™ and Beard Legend Cone™, the Legacy R-Model comes standard with a Beard chrome tailpiece, screens/rings, and fan coverplate. All Beards come standard with Gotoh tuners.

The Legacy R-Model can get a Fishman Nashville bridge pickup designed by Jerry Douglas, Larry Fishman, and Paul Beard. Each bridge pickup comes with a #14 adjustable spider.”
