It wears the then-standard two-tone nitrocellulose lacquer tobacco sunburst, with single ply pickguard and of course a V-profile maple neck. The serial number plate is stamped ‘-21305’. The minus sign prefix is specific to the 1957 and 1958 production, with some models alternately having a ‘0’ prefix. ❌ SOLD ❌ Gibson Keb Mo Bluesmaster Steel String Guitar, 2011

❌ SOLD ❌ Gibson Keb Mo Bluesmaster Steel String Guitar, 2011

The Gibson Keb Mo signature Bluesmaster guitar is based on the small-bodied Gibson L-body guitars many blues players used from the 1920’s on. The L-body series weren’t just used by blues players – for many players throughout North America, these were a first serious guitar. The Gibson Keb’ Mo’ sports a Adirondack Red Spruce top with herringbone purfling, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a bound East Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The bridge is also rosewood, with a bone saddle. The finish is Gibson’s normal nitrocellulose lacquer sunburst.

❌SOLD❌ Caldersmith Concert Classical Number 73, Red Cedar and Walnut, 2009

Here’s a treat – a Graham Caldersmith Concert Classical Number 73 guitar from 2009, with lattice-braced Red Cedar top and lovely American Walnut for the back and sides.
Graham Caldersmith has long been interested in musical instruments, and after a detour that led to a Masters in Aerophysics – advanced study of Mars – in 1978 he decided to shift to full time lutherie. His shop builds concert classical guitars, violins, violas, and cellos, based on careful research he himself conducts.
