The Taylor 214ce Plus is an updated version of their excellent general purpose Grand Auditorium body shape. The narrow waist on this guitar makes it very comfortable to play particularly in a seated position where the guitar sits tighter to your body and doesn’t extend your strumming arm into a fatiguing position.
The solid Sitka spruce top used on the Taylor 214ce Plus is paired with layered rosewood back and sides. The top wood and body size provide great projection and clarity which works equally well for fingerstyle or strumming. The super comfortable neck profile features a 1 11/16” nut width which can help people with smaller hands or beginners to grab all of those chord shapes.
The Taylor 214ce Plus now features a full gloss body and back binding for even nicer visuals. The Venetian cutaway and ES2 pickup system has you ready for performance and the new included Aerocase is a wonderful lightweight and sturdy way to protect your guitar during transportation.
