The Taylor 614ce Builder’s Edition is designed to elevate the acoustic playing experience by providing a luxurious feel and tone.
Based around the new V class bracing, the Taylor 614ce Builder’s Edition features a torrefied Sitka spruce top and maple sides and back. The process of roasting the Sitka spruce decreases dampening, which in turn delivers a more played in feel and increased touch sensitivity. V class bracing provides more volume and sustain as well as consistent fullness from the notes along the whole fretboard. The reflective character of the maple sides and back delivers clarity and when paired with the V class bracing and torrefied Sitka spruce produces a tone much warmer than many maple guitars.
New ergonomic design elements in the Taylor 614ce Builder’s Edition include a beveled armrest with beveled body edges and a contoured cutaway with finger bevel. All edges on this guitar are so comfortable that you will lose track of time while playing it. The new Silent Satin finish feels super smooth and helps to reduce incidental playing noise.
The Taylor 614ce Builders Edition is topped off with a beautiful Wild Honey burst Silent Satin finish, gold Gotoh 510 tuners and a mother of pearl Scepter fretboard and peghead inlay. This luxurious guitar is factory equipped with the ES2 pickup system and comes with deluxe hardshell case.
