The Twelfth Fret ~ Since 1977 ~

❌SOLD❌ Taylor GA3 Grand Auditorium Steel String Natural, 2010

Brand:

Instrument Categories: , , ,

Built from 2007 to 2012, the Taylor GA3 served as an entry point to the Grand Auditorium line, pairing a Sitka Spruce for the top and braces, with Sapele for the sides and back. The GA3 also uses Mahogany for the body blocks and neck, Ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard, and finally a piece of Indian Rosewood for the head plate.

The Taylor Grand Auditorium body style first appeared in 1994 and can be compared to the Martin ‘000’ style, but with a tighter waist and smaller upper bout. It delivers a full, well balanced tone with plenty of presence and volume. Taylor has long focused on designing and building guitars with the player’s comfort in mind.

This Taylor GA3 example dates to October 28, 2010 and was built at the Taylor shop in El Cajon, California. Somewhat unusually, it is entirely acoustic with no electronics installed. The finish is gloss on the top, and satin for the rest of the instrument. It is in good overall condition with just minor wear to the finish and frets.

The original black hard shell, arched-top Taylor branded case is included.
