❌SOLD❌ Taylor NS64ce Nylon String Cutaway Guitar Natural, 2008

Brand:

Instrument Categories: , , ,

Built from 2002 to 2011, the Taylor NS64ce is a crossover style guitar, bringing nylon string tone and responsiveness to the steel string player, and includes electronics. This is a very interesting instrument for fingerstyle, chord melody or latin jazz players who seek the subtle responsiveness of nylon strings, and don’t prefer a traditional classical guitar.

Based on the Grand Auditorium Venetian cutaway body style, the Taylor NS64ce pairs an Engelmann Spruce top with Big Leaf Maple for the sides and back. The neck and body blocks are Mahogany, the radiused fingerboard Ebony, and Cocobolo is used for the bridge and head plate. The rosette is a mixture of Hawaiian Koa and Maple. Stock installed electronics are the Taylor ES-N system by Fishman, tailored for nylon string response.

This Taylor NS64ce example dates to 2008 and was built at the Taylor plant in El Cajon, California. This guitar has been used as intended so it has general wear and tear; two cracks in the top were properly repaired and cleated some time ago. It plays well, and has a full, rich sound, with extra top end clarity provided by the Maple sides and back.

The original Taylor hard shell case is included.
