Built in 2002 by Barry Gibson of Burns, after his purchase of the Burns company from the family. This Burns Nu-Sonic guitar is in excellent condition and is number 21 of 50 built.

The Gibson SG has been in production for 50 years now, though in 1961 it was first named as a Les Paul. It quickly became a standard workhorse for all kinds of music. I can’t think of how many bands I’ve seen where the guitar players used an SG. As the SG Special, some models had a larger ‘batwing’ pickguard that covers more of the top; the guitar underneath is the same.

This Fender custom shop strat has all the specifications to accurately replicate a 1956 model and sports relic style wear and tear to simulate years of play. This particular example is a really nice light weight guitar which plays and sounds great and comes with the original hardshell case full of all the case candy!
