Ibanez RGT 1527 7 String SOLD

As a musician, I’m always looking for new sounds and new tools to empower and inspire new musical visions and ideas. A while back, Steve Vai introduced the 7 string guitar to the masses with his guitar work on Whitesnake’s Slip Of The Tongue and his solo release, Passion And Warfare. All of a sudden the door was open to newer, aggressive tones that were previously attainable by using a baritone guitar. I’ve often lived by the slogan “Evolve or Die”. As a guitar player, I hold that slogan as a mantra. The seven string guitar has become a mainstay of my band Sixes & Sevens’ sound. It opens up a whole new aggression and enhances chords with an extended low range. The biggest impact or hurdle is simply getting used to the low “B” string. With some patience and practice, anyone could find a cool use for this magnificent instrument.
