Following in the steps of jumbo bodied 12-strings, the Taylor 655ce 12-String cutaway electric features a Flame Maple body with a Sitka Spruce top. Built from 1998 to 2013, the Taylor 655ce 12-string is a cutaway Jumbo bodied instrument, reflecting classic models like the Guild F-512.

The Rickenbacker Roger McGuinn Limited Edition 370/12 is based on the classic model used on a number of influential recordings.
Introduced in 1978 and built until 2006, the Taylor 555 12 String is a Spruce and Mahogany, Jumbo bodied model with a huge voice. Here we’re looking at a Taylor 555 12-string built during 1991 in El Cajon, California. It pairs Sitka Spruce for the top with Mahogany for the sides, back and neck with Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge, but it has no electronics.
This Larrivee L10 12 String guitar with a Dragon headstock inlay was built in Victoria, British Columbia, and dates to the very early 1980’s. Based on their standard ‘L’ body, which is itself based on classical guitar body proportions, this lovely guitar is built using Sitka Spruce for the top Abalone for the top purfling and rosette, Indian Rosewood for the sides, back and head plate, Mahogany for the body blocks and neck and Ebony for the bridge and bound fingerboard.
The Taylor Leo Kottke Signature model is now discontinued, but is a fantastic instrument for the finger stylist into the massive sounds of the 12-string guitar. Featuring a a Jumbo body with an Venetian cutaway, using a Sitka Spruce top paired with Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, and Ebony for the fingerboard and bridge, the Taylor LKSM delivers a big sound with plenty of articulation, sparkle and projection.

Here we’re looking at a Guild F212 NT built during 1970 in Westerly, Rhode Island. This model is built with a Sitka Spruce top, Tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck, and Indian Rosewood for the fingerboard and bridge. This guitar is in good working condition and has had a number of repairs over the years.
