❌SOLD❌ Gibson Moderne Reissue Black, 2012

Here’s a reissue version one of the rarest of all Gibson guitars – the Gibson Moderne, designed and registered in June 1957 but only produced in limited numbers from 1981 to 1983! This gloss black 2012 reissue version of the Gibson Moderne differs from any 1957 prototype and the 1980’s run in its use of Mahogany for the body rather than Korina, the lack of string pivots on the new V-shaped headstock, a gold Gibson decal logo rather than the cast type, and a considerably lower price.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson L-00 Standard Steel String Sunburst, 2018

❌SOLD❌ Gibson L-00 Standard Steel String Sunburst, 2018

The Gibson L-00 Standard steel string reproduces one of the three classic ‘L’ models built from the 1926 to 1945 period. These inexpensive, lightly built instruments were very responsive and used by many casual players and mid range professionals. The L-00 began production in 1929 with a 12-fret neck, but by the time of its second 1933 catalog listing had a 14-fret neck. Some of the last few examples, from 1943 on, had the ‘Only a Gibson is Good Enough’ banner. At this point, the L-00 was being replaced with the ‘LG’ series.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean Black, 1993

The late, great Chet Atkins was long associated with Gretsch guitars with many classic models bearing his name. However, after Gretsch ceased production as its parent Baldwin approached bankruptcy, Gibson sought his endorsement and a number of Gibson Chet Atkins models appeared. This included the Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean, built from 1990 to 2005 in Nashville.
