⚌No Longer Available‼ Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Black Beauty Custom Inlay, 2020

With an official launch in October 2020, the Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Black Beauty was based on a classic 1958 Les Paul Custom. In 1957, three of Gibson’s then-new humbucking pickups replaced the P-90 and Alnico V ‘Staple Top’ pickup set of previous Customs. From its introduction in 1954 until the 1961 redesign, the Les Paul Custom had a major difference from the other carved-top Les Pauls hidden under the gloss black finish.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson J-50 ADJ Slope Shoulder Natural, 1968

The Gibson J-50 ADJ Slope Shoulder Dreadnought models were produced in tandem with the better known J-45, with the difference being the J-50’s natural vs the J-45’s sunburst top. This sometimes meant that the J-50’s used visually higher grades of Spruce, but the two guitars are otherwise identical.

Shown here is Yamaha SG2000 Reissue with Red Sunburst, built around July 2010 and in very good, original condition. Introduced in 1976, the Yamaha SG2000 was considered perhaps the finest solidbody guitar from Japan – perhaps from anywhere – for its time. This design was the result of a collaboration between Yamaha and Carlos Santana to improve the Yamaha SG175.

Heritage guitars, including the Heritage Prospect thinline archtop electric, are built at the historic Gibson plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These are very well made instruments, with a high level of consistent quality. The Heritage Prospect is based on the classic thinline semi-hollow archtop design pioneered in 1958 by Gibson with the ES-335.

❌SOLD❌ Martin D-18 Dreadnought Natural, 1943

Seen here is a wartime (WW2!) Martin D-18 Dreadnought, built during 1943 at Nazareth PA and in great playing condition. Accompanied by a recent appraisal from George Gruhn, this piece is in structurally very good condition with wear expected for over 80 years of use. The back of the head does not have a ‘Made in USA’ stamp, which was typically used to identify guitars built for export, particularly to Canada.
