❌SOLD❌ Epiphone Granada E444T Thinline Archtop Sunburst, 1965

❌SOLD❌ Epiphone Granada E444T Thinline Archtop Sunburst, 1965

The Epiphone Granada E444T is much like the Gibson ES-125T, and was built in the Gibson Kalamazoo plant from 1962 to 1970. A non-cutaway thinline archtop, the Granada E444T has a large plastic plate that mounts the controls and a Melody Maker style single coil pickup. The sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish has faded nicely, and there is natural checking around the instrument. There are a few small dings and scratches on the back, but otherwise it is in good condition.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson B B King Lucille Thinline Electric Cherry Red, 1999

❌SOLD❌ Gibson B B King Lucille Thinline Electric Cherry Red, 1999

The Gibson B B King Lucille made its debut in 1980 as the B B King Custom, with features specified by the great guitarist himself. Based on the ES-355 models that King had used for years, the Lucille has a sealed, thinline body to resist feedback at high stage volumes. As B B King tended to sit next to his amps, turn them up all the way and then control volume from the guitar, feedback could be an issue.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson ES-175/CC ‘Charlie Christian’ Archtop Electric Sunburst 1979

❌SOLD❌ Gibson ES-175/CC 'Charlie Christian' Archtop Electric Sunburst 1979

This Gibson ES-175/CC dates to January 31, 1979.   It’s in very good, original condition and plays well.  This model is unusual, and this particular example even more so. Researching the model, most descriptions mention a ‘Second’ or ‘2nd’ stamp on the back of the headstock.   This one doesn’t have that stamp, and so was deemed first quality.

❌ SOLD ❌ Gibson Southern Jumbo Steel String Guitar Sunburst, 2004

❌ SOLD ❌ Gibson Southern Jumbo Steel String Guitar Sunburst, 2004

The Gibson Southern Jumbo is closely related to the classic J-45, and at times the differences have been mostly market driven and cosmetic. Apparently named to appeal to Gibson dealers in the American South – referring to the Mason-Dixon line, the Southern Jumbo or SJ uses slope-shoulder, spruce and mahogany body construction. The key differences are additional binding on the fingerboard and split-parallelogram position markers.

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Junior Special P-90 Sunburst, 1991

❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul Junior Special P-90 Sunburst, 1991

The Les Paul Special was originally produced from late 1954 to 1959, in a form very much like this Les Paul Junior Special. The slab body and neck are Mahogany, the bound fingerboard is Rosewood. For hardware, Kluson Deluxe style tuners were used, with a pair of P-90s. On the originals, a combination stop tailpiece/bridge was used but all the reissues have installed a tune-o-matic style bridge with stop tailpiece. Wiring is typical Gibson – a pickup selector and individual volume and tone controls.
