This Gibson A-5 Master Model mandolin is modelled after the classic Fern and Master Models and sports the tapered ‘snakehead’ headstock and Cremona sunburst in nitrocellulose lacquer. A and F style mandolins were invented and patents applied for by Orville Gibson in the early days of the 20th century, the first production examples appearing in 1902.

The Gretsch White Penguin 58 Reissue, officially model G6134, re-creates the 1958 Bigsby-equipped version of the Jet-based Penguin. The White Penguin was created in response to the Gretsch White Falcon, itself created as a showpiece for the 1954 NAMM show and not intended for production.

It’s rare to see one of these available for sale – a Terry McInturff Taurus in Translucent Blue finish on an AA Quilted Maple top. Based on the serial number, this guitar entered the finish booth during September 2000. The McInturff Taurus is a single-cutaway solidbody electric using the proven formula of a Maple cap on a Mahogany body, with Mahogany for the neck and Indian Rosewood for the unbound fingerboard. On the Taurus, the Maple cap is highly figured, AA Quilted Maple.

This Ron Belanger Celtic Bouzouki was built during 2007 in Orillia, Ontario and is in overall good condition with a great sound. Pairing a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany for the body and neck, this lovely piece uses Ebony for the head plate, bridge, and fingerboard. The rosette is a nicely contrasting section of Spalted Maple.

Gibson F9 Mandolin Satin Brown, 2007 / No Longer Available

The Gibson F9 mandolin is a ‘no frills’ model featuring a carved and tuned spruce top and flame maple back, flame maple sides and neck, and an Ebony fingerboard, bridge and head plate with Mother of Pearl script Gibson logo. Only the top is bound, and the instrument sports a satin finish in a vintage brown tint. As stock, there is no pickguard.
