Sierra
The Deering Banjo Company is now offering the Deering Sierra Maple 5-String Banjo – their most popular Sierra model banjo in maple! Deering has become one of the largest and most respected American banjo manufacturers and we’re very happy to see these models.
This excellent Deering Sierra banjo dates to December of 2010 and was built at the Deering shop in Spring Garden, California, with capo tacks installed at frets 7, 9 and 10. The Deering Sierra Maple banjo carries a satin finish, and in this case it’s quite clean with no dents or scratches. The metal hardware is nickel plated, and unlike chrome this develops a light patina over time; the plating itself does not show any significant wear. Fret wear is light.
