Fender Precision Bass refinished 1968 (consignment) SOLD

Fender Precision Bass refinished 1968 (consignment) SOLD

Here’s a nicely refinished 1968 Fender Precision Bass. There have been lots of good reasons to refinish an old instrument, and this one was done professionally without significantly altering the edges or contours. The DiMarzio pickup was likely installed in the late 70’s or early 80’s for a punchier tone. This bass plays well, sounds and looks great.

Fender Mustang Bass 1974 (consignment) SOLD

Fender Mustang Bass 1974 (consignment) SOLD

This is a very cool Mustang bass. The Neckplate with the serial number isn’t original; that number, with the preceding L, indicates production between 1962 and 1965, but the Mustang bass didn’t come into production until 1966. The neck has no date but is stamped 0400-1243 in red and J. Torres in black, dating it to 1974 and matching the pot codes.Regardless, this is a largely original, great bass.
