The David Wren Studio line was made during the early 1980’s as a simpler, lower-priced ‘standard production’ alternative to the rather more expensive custom order models that most builders create. These models feature a spruce top and mahogany back and sides with ebony bridge, maple binding, and a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard.
